Registration Information

Students must be four years old by August 31 of the respective year to register for the KinderBridge program. Registration forms must be completed by the parent and a $200 NONREFUNDABLE registration fee must be attached to the enrollment packet. Each student application must have an updated copy (from the doctor) of his/her immunizations attached. Hepatitis A is a requirement for childcare facilities in Maricopa County. Your child’s immunizations must show that this series has been started.

Classes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Bright Beginnings School reserves the right to make any changes necessary to create full classrooms for staffing purposes. We do our very best to place everyone. All items must be turned in with a completed registration packet in order to be considered for admission. You will be notified of your child’s placement in a particular class or if your child is on the waiting list.

All parents registering students to enter grades K-6 at Bright Beginnings Charter School for the first time must bring documentation of the student’s age and identity. Such documentation can include (1) a certified copy of the student’s birth certificate; (2) other reliable proof of the student’s identity and age, including the pupil’s baptismal certificate, an application for a social security number or original school registration records and an affidavit explaining the inability to provide a copy of the birth certificate; or (3) a letter from the authorized representative of an agency having custody of the student pursuant to A.R.S., Title 8, Chapter 2 certifying that the student has been placed in the custody of the agency as prescribed by law. ALL items MUST be turned in with a completed registration packet in order to be entered into the lottery or considered for admission.

Before any student will be allowed to attend Bright Beginnings Charter School, the parent must provide an updated copy of their students’ immunization records (from the doctor) or submit documentation that the pupil is exempted from immunization pursuant to A.R.S. § 15-873. We recommend that parents submit their students’ immunization records with their registration packets. Copies will not be made in the office during the open registration time.

ALL items requested must be turned in as a completed registration packet. Student packets received after the re-enrollment deadline will be added to the wait list and will be admitted on a space-available basis.

All students admitted to BBS and their families, by accepting admission to the school, are agreeing to follow all of the rules in the BBS Family Handbook.
